With the recent unearthing of an image on Google’s server, along with the less recent mention of Google Web Drive in Picasa for Mac, I’ve begun to think of exactly what I would want from a Cloud OS.

WMG, WTF?
Category: Thoughts - Tags: Warner, WTF, YouTubeI’m sure most of you know about the recent scuffle between YouTube and Warner Music Group. WMG have been scouring YouTube for videos containing music on one of their many labels, whether it’s just full videos (I can understand that), samples, background music, or even cover versions. I mean… COME ON! Cut some people some slack.
Videos have cropped up all over YouTube protesting against this, ranging from simple “F*ck you Warner”, to educated arguments, to compilations of clips from songs on… Yup! You guessed it – Warner Music Group. They’re even taking down videos uploaded to the original artist’s YouTube channel. Metallica have replaced their videos with prompts saying “If you would like to actually SEE this video, HASSLE FREE go to Metallica.com”. That’s a bit much don’t ya think?
Anyway, I encourage anyone who cares to upload their protest videos now

Is this YouTube’s first interactive game?
Category: Randomness - Tags: =D, YouTubeI just saw this over on Kotaku, and I had to post it here. YouTube user Patrick Boivin made a Street Fighter game using multiple YouTube videos using the ability to embed links within videos.
Check out the first video here, then click through to the others in the video:
